Yantai Fengpeng Liquid Crystal Materials Co., Ltd. is located at No. 156 Guangming Road, Chaoshui Town, Yantai Development Zone. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yantai Xianhua Technology Group Co., Ltd. registered in Yantai Development Zone in June 2006. The company's main products are liquid crystal display (LCD) materials, optoelectronic materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, fine chemicals, etc. In December 2021, the company was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise.
The site has 0.12 million square meters totally, in which there is a R&D and QC center with 4000 square meters area. There is a clean room for LCD intermediates, OLED intermediates and pharmaceutical intermediates, which can also offer CDMO service for customers. For the QC lab, there are Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), LC-MS, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), UPLC, Gas Chromatographs (GC), etc. Experienced workers and good equipment and workshops for Grinard reaction, support Fengpeng to be a special partner for you if you need to conduction such kind reactions.
The R&D department possesses the capability to develop the process for the new liquid crystal monomers, support the workshops to conduct pilot production and carry out industrialization. So far, the R&D department has commercialized almost one thousand compounds, such as alkenes, biphenylnitriles, esters, phenylcyclohexanes, ethanes, alkynes, fluorides, dioxanes, chiral chemicals, etc. The developed products cater to the requirements of black and white mixed crystals and various mixed crystal products for TFT-LCD. Some of the product synthesis processes are domestically pioneering, and the technology has reached a leading level in the country.
The following reactions can be conducted in the site: Suzuki coupling, Wittig reaction, Hydrogenation reaction, Grignard reaction, Halogenation reaction, Esterification reaction, Friedel-Crafts reaction, and Heck coupling reaction.
There are two commercial production workshops at the site. 100 sets reactors are equipped in the workshops, from 50 L to 5000 L. The reaction temperature range is from -100°C to +300°C, the pressure can reach 10Mpa, and the vacuum can reach 10-12mbar. The production capacity is 200 metric tons for this site.
